How to build your own pool, with a small amount of materials and minimal chemicals!
In the hot summer months having a natural swimming pool can be a lot of fun, but you will need a reasonable sized piece of land. These pools can look beautiful all year round and are environmentally friendly, particularly if you use gravel stone and clay rather than concrete. Also clarifying and purifying the water can be done through plants and biological filters so you dont need to use expensive chemicals (and be even kinder to the environment). The benefits of this is that you dont have to swim in the chemicals.
Without these chemicals you will need to set aside about 50% of the pools’ surface area for these aquatic plants.
These pools can add a good source of water in the dry months also.
