2. The Vertical Axle Compost Tumbler

Like the previous tumbler, Vertical Axle Tumbler has solid wooden stand and the barrel turns on an axle running through the center. However, this time the barrel is vertical rather than horizontal. When your compost is ready you can position your wheelbarrow in front and easily tip out the contents.

 2. The Horizontal Roller Compost Tumbler

This design has the Compost Barrel sitting on rollers rather than having an axle running through the center. It is the easiest build and if you place it on a stand you can tip your new compost directly into your wheelbarrow. However, probably not as easily as the other two tumbler designs.
